ahh, went for the youth olympics retreat!

yes, it's back to school.
and i'm feeling so stressed!

why?
1) due to the track 3 and 4 selection thing.
yes i know it's not going to be a big problem till next year since the only difference is Polar Coordinates this sem, but still, i need to make a choice!

2) i'm going to miss school for like a lot of days and i don't know if i can catch up.

3) NE stuff are like rushing all of a sudden

4) lessons end so late every single day. i feel like i'm suffocating somehow. and surprisingly, i am still taking quite a few modules. geog, e spec, econs, polar coordinates.

thankfully i've supportive parents.
i'm afraid i'm going to put pressure back on them as well so I try my best to show like everything's ok.

so yeah, first day of school was kind of tiring?

we had chinese in the morning, and damn it, we had to write yan jiang ci. -.-
then it was math, the selection of track 3 and 4 and all the explanations.
then bio. ms tan took over our lesson! oh my gosh, SHE'S GREAT ok? she's like a female version of mr tham.
if only she could take over our bio.....

alright, then we had geog! new teacher!
yeah, then it was eh, break!
so we did a little NWSP stuff. spoke to ms chen.

alright! now to my trip!
heh, had some difficulty trying to get up in the morning... anyway, i had packed my stuff the day before!
so yeah.. we set off! went to eat first! at loyang point. I had ermm a few mouths of beehoon. didn't taste that good.
then we were on our way! yes! we went to the customs area.
luckily no jam!

somehow, they wanted the adults to take thumbprints! so mum + dad went down the car. grandma opened the door, and the policeman was like "NO NEED". hahahahaha.

yeah, then we were on our way to MELAKA for lunch xD.
ate at jusco. bah, i thought the food was horrible. the herbal egg thingy was nice though :)

ohoh! the best part was, mummy went to buy the sweet potato, then i was buying the egg. after that when i turned around, i took this packet of chestnut lying on the table. i thought she bought it cause she always does! but turns out she didn't.
so the person was like NOOOOOOOO, and i was so embarrassed as i put the chestnut back down on the table. loll.

yeah so anyway we left jusco at around 1?
and we reached sunway lagoon at like 4!!!
Hahah! checked in to the hotel! got a great room! great view :)
then went for the welcome drink! haha, and then we went for dinner at this restaurant we ate last time, which had great food then, but horrible food now.

ok, not that bad. but the standard did drop.
yupp.

after that we went to the shopping centre! saw loads of shops. i think it looked great! better than vivocity or any shopping centre you can name here in Singapore. Hahah, there was this ice skating area like right below. wanted to try, but didn't have time. :(

anyway, day 1 ended!
so yeah, woke up kinda early the next day for b'fast!
ahh, i liked the b'fast! lol. probably cause i was hungry.
but yeah, after that, we went back and changed to our swimming attire!

and we went to the theme park! xD

it was DAMN FUN i tell you.

started on tues.
mon was a horrible day.
i totally lost my voice, had to face all the horrible stuff.
i'm glad it's over though.

SLC has really given me that boost to continue excelling in the public speaking area :)

Day 1
Met Utkarsh and ShiYang in the morning!
went to register, and I was sorted into VARINIUS!

Hahah. the group which left me with loads of memories.
yeah, anyway, we went to the auditorium, went through this briefing!
then we went to this classroom to meet our group and get to know each other!

wow, i would say i was shocked with the small corridors and the unique design of the classrooms in hci. Hahah. felt so, old.

stepped into class, got to sit beside THIS GIRL, PAN! hahahaha. i tell you at first sight, i thought she looked damn cool! :)

got to know our fac! yujun from rvhs! :) great fac xD
then we introduced ourselves briefly, and there were many people who liked basketball! lol.

yeah, we then played whacko, honey do you love me and the step on the balloon game.
kinda interesting, and yeah, we got to know each other better. then we had to change to our SLC shirt! mine was GIGANTIC. ok, not that big, but you get my point...

we changed in the guy's toilet lol! interesting experience.
and yeah, then got to the audi again for briefing for amazing race! :)

Haha, alright the second last week of school!
we had GAMES DAY!
and yes, FARADAY IS VICTORIOUS! XD

Fishie and I played for A div due to the lack of players.
and guess what? we won 3/b games of captain's ball!
that shows how good we are huh.
lol, just kidding. xD thanks to our seniors! especially yunwei, cheryl chua and AH MAH (Adabelle)! Haha.

yunwei left me in awe after all her fabulous stunts.
basketball was unpredictable.

last week of school - SIMC

this was a really memorable week xD
i'll never forget it.

during the pre-briefing session, i got to know i would be attached to this korean team with benjamin. didn't feel that enthusiastic at first cause i would be working with a person i didn't really know. Hahah, but he's a great person to work with. (:

so yeah, monday night came. we went to the airport to pick them up!
waited for a long time and suspected they went missing! so stuart, jong, benjamin and I were just randomly talking while holding that piece of paper no one wanted to hold. Hahah.

finally they came! haha, greeted them and everything. and that was when we started to realize there was communication breakdown. lol.
we met mira's team! the really cool american guys! and they boarded the bus back to PGPR (:
went back for a nice sleep.
day 1
the next morning, had to get up really early.
went to school! SLOs briefing. and then we went to help them with their poster preparation.
oh, it was horrendous.
our group did not have a poster. so benjamin and I had to go print it. it was chaotic. and to make things worse, they did not exactly understand what we were saying. Hahah.
fortunately, we had eun kyung.

yeah anyway, bad experience.
just before opening ceremony, went back to PGPR with one of the Korean girls to get her lappy, rushed back to school and charged it for her cause apparently she needed a universal adaptor.
bah. ok.

later part of the morning, helped roy and reico with some stuff for the educational trip (:
and thanks to me! chin wee and I got the group to IHPC (: Hahah.

but unexpectedly, I started SNEEZING and COUGHING. and damn, i was sick.
it was a horrible day in short.

day 2
i got myself out of bed unwillingly.
still felt unwell due to the fever.

rushed to school. looked horribly dead.
felicia and asmi started camwhoring like really badly!

Haha. and they went around snapping loads of pics.

heh, this was kind of a monotonous day.
participants had to prepare in their classrooms!

so it was kinda boring for us!
then we had to prepare for our item!
we decided on the Singapore song.

yup! and i came up with the actions! it was so CHILDISH! but fun xD

yeah, then me and chin wee were stuck together the whole day!
we were just playing around. then marianne joined us to get food for the participants cause they looked really tired doing their work. our own pocket money =x lol.

went over to the taiwan people's room a lot cause that was chin wee's group!
my group was SLACKING, DOTA-ing. so i didn't really hang around them.
yeah.

then me and chin wee were doing loads of ridiculous stuff! i was trying to prove i was CAPABLE of touching the fire bell thingy on the wall. and obviously i did. i'm tall you know :)

yeah, our day ended almost like that.
with one of the taiwan guys giving me a souvenir from their school!
so funny. cause he dropped something, another one came over and said "Why are you so careless?"

day 4
yeah! day 4! had to go to school extra early.
donovan came along with me!
talked a little in the car. was really tired..
yeah, anyway, today was the onsite challenge!

anyway, after that, I went out with the taiwan group!
Hahah. I wrote a whole book in my diary.
i think i shall just copy and paste :)

We set off from school to PGPR.
On the bus, I had to stand due to the lack of seats!
Zhewei offered his seat and said "我怕你跌倒！”
but i refused lol.
anyway we went back to PGPR. and the korean team and the ipoh team wanted to take pics with me!
waha! i felt like a celebrity... :)

after that, we had to find our way out of PGPR!
so chin wee and I went to the bus-stop first!
we split into 2 batches and then went separate ways although we were supposed to go together!
we got onto NUS bus! alighted at guild house area! then walked to the SBS bus-stop.

at the busstop, shaofu was asking me how much to pay! then he gave me this ten bucks taiwan dollar! so nice :)

Hahah, finally 95 came!
cw and I slept for a while.
then we reached buona vista! bought tickets at the mrt station..
then at the platform, shaofu kept playing with me at the yellow lines lol!
he wanted to step over and i was like scolding. really funny.

then when the MRT finally arrived. i was like 上车！and he said 不可以过黄线...
and i totally ignored him :)
so yeah, we boarded the super crowded train and I was standing with zhewei and shaofu! almost lost balance! shaofu, being a nice guy, asked me to hold on to his bag strap. but i was too shy. -.-
lol. okok, anyway, we reached.

got down! then we went to buy food!
i finally tried the green tea ice-cream! tasted really good xD but really ex.

Hahah. i was with shaofu most of the time :)
he's a really nice and funny guy!
Hahah, he played with my hp and stuff! and the funny thing about him is how he adds the word 'yeah' after every sentence.

helped him to choose this jeans and we played around at the souvenir shop.
ah! i really miss them.
really touching closing ceremony. obviously not the part when i saw myself on the slideshow. -.-

oh! not to mention mitchell's hilarious voice after he sucks helium.
i tell you, i swear he sounded like donald duck. xD

just to end off, i was reading zhewei's compo like 2 days ago. and i teared.
it was really touching the way he wrote stuff.

this part that he dedicated to me. ahh. makes me so emotional.

藝婷:一個只和我認識一天就很熟的女孩子。她超可愛的，但因為長的不高，心智又很像小孩子，因此常被大家鬧著玩。她常常做一些令人匪夷所思的事，例如:摸牆上的警報器(或許是要證明自己很高吧!)，除此之外，最令我印象深刻的就是請我在她的氣球上簽名，這大概一百個人裡面也不會有一個人想到這個創意，除了說她天真、活潑、可愛外，就只能說她可能頭腦有點笨笨的。當藝婷傳簡訊跟我們說不能替我們送機時，我雖然表面上說沒差，但我心情已盪到谷底，因此我不願意在看Singapore最後一眼。如果說我最不捨誰，我會說:「藝婷和慧欣。」慧欣是因為我和她相處最融洽，而藝婷是因為我幾乎把她看成我的妹妹。
